The Manitowish Waters paved bike trail travels from the Powell Road/Community Center along Hwy. 51 to CTH W through Manitowish Waters shopping center, continuing along CTH W to the North Lakeland Discovery Center/Rest Lake Community Park. The paved trail continues along CTH W to CTH K, Camp Jorn, North Lakeland School,Boulder Junction and beyond!
New for 2015! The bike path along W from Highway 51 into downtown Manitowish Waters has been rerouted to a new scenic, and much safer route through some wooded areas and wetlands. A new bridge has been added over the wetland area, and a new path off the road goes through the busy downtown area. The trail adjacent to the road has been made significantly wider.
You can also walk or run the trail if you like. There’s plenty of room for everyone.
